Welcome to The Special Education Consultant website. By using this site or booking services with us, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Services Provided

The Special Education Consultant provides guidance and consulting services related to special education, including but not limited to:

Assessment navigation and referrals
Assessment reviews and consultations
IEP support and guidance
School placement support
Ongoing and hourly consulting

We do not provide medical, psychological, or legal services. All recommendations are for educational purposes only.

2. Booking & Payment

All consultations must be scheduled in advance by direct contact.
Payment details, rates, and accepted methods will be provided at the time of booking.
Full payment is required prior to the consultation unless otherwise agreed.

3. Cancellations & Rescheduling

You may cancel or reschedule your appointment with at least 24 hours’ notice.
Missed appointments or cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may be charged in full.
If we need to reschedule, we will notify you as soon as possible and offer an alternative time.

4. Confidentiality

We respect the privacy of all families. Information shared during consultations will be kept confidential and will not be shared with third parties, except where required by law.

5. Limitation of Services

Our role is to provide guidance, resources, and recommendations to help families navigate the special education process. Final decisions regarding assessments, IEPs, or school placement are the responsibility of the parent/guardian and the school team.

7. Liability Disclaimer

The Special Education Consultant is not liable for:

Outcomes of assessments, school placements, or services provided by third-party professionals.
Decisions made by schools, boards, or agencies based on our guidance.
Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from use of our services or website.

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised “Last Updated” date.
